Update 15/05/07 - Some feedback on these pics has been received and it is thought to be an RS6 Avant and the accident occurred in Luxembourg. Let us know if you have any additional info.
It’s quite unbelievable but the driver of this Audi RS4 apparently walked away from his wrecked car without a scratch and used his mobile phone to call emergency services.
Speed? How does 250km/h sound? I suspect that it may be an exaggeration given the road. Only a complete nutter would do that sort of speed on anything but an Autobahn…

Whooooahh ! Lucky the wife got out 5 minutes earlier or maybe not hmmmm….
When will people realize that speed kills? Im sure if there was a Steve Bracks special taking photos of how fast this guy was going it could have been prevented! Not!
When will you people that are all like speed kill realize it is not speed that kills it is speed and conditions as well as hazards for example the bonneville salt flats anyone can run fast there and it’s sanctioned and safe it is people like this who be stupid and pay no attention to conditions and road hazards as the road and the conditions were obviously not right for that fast a speed as evidenced by the picture in closing.
SPEED ALONE DOES NOT KILL speed and hazards do kill
there is a difference
No way that person walked away alive let alone without injury.
I agree speed alone does not kill, idiots using it do.
lucky bastard!!!!
It’s not speed that kills but the sudden stop !
oooo,la velocidad sigue haciendo victimas
it is not speed that kills, rather the sudden stop at the end!
according to pictures, this is car is definitely (A)6-series (the second newest body) not 4-series.
The small badge on the left side of the front grille probably states “S6″ or “RS6″.
or “Quattro”
It not a RS4, but a RS6!
Definitely a Twin turbo RS6 Avant. I used to work at Audi and had a press car to test drive home weekends on the odd occasion.(220km trip home!) (Had to make sure that there were no problems with it - You know what i mean!!!)
The fastest car I have ever driven. Just the sound of it driving slowly down the main street turned peoples heads. At 5.00am on a crisp spring morning sort of got your attention. Awesome Car.
