2010 Kia Cerato Koup US TV Commercial Leaked

KIA'S APPROACH TO marketing the Soul, both in Australia and around the world, has been to capitalise on its funky styling with a global campaign targeting younger image-conscious buyers looking for the latest in 'cool'.

Judging by this leaked television commercial for the US launch of the upcoming 2010 Kia Forte Koup - which we'll see later this year as the Kia Cerato Koup - that's an image the Korean manufacturer is looking to cultivate even further.

Running with the theme "two is enough," the video gives us more than a glimpse of what to expect from the two-door Cerato Koup when it lands down under.

Kia unveilled the production 2010 Cerato Koup back in April, and the company was confident of the market potential for its sporty new two-door.

“On the heel of the introductions of the Soul and Forte sedan, Forte Koup represents the next exciting step in the transformation of Kia design and offers a blend of sporty and emotional appeal,” said Michael Sprague, vice president, marketing, KMA.

“We believe our new design evolution coupled with standard Kia value and safety features will continue to attract customers to the Kia brand.”

Engine options for Australia are yet to be confirmed, but the US model will be offered with a choice of either a 116kW 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol engine, or a 129kW 2.4 litre version.
