Lexus to unveil IS-F Racing Concept at Tokyo Auto Salon

Just to prove that they are serious about performance cars, Lexus are bringing their IS-F Racing Concept to this years Tokyo Auto Salon. The darkened image is enough to give us a reasonable idea what the “super” IS-F looks like and its fair to say it would hold its own sitting next to something like an AMG Mercedes DTM C-class racer...

Lexus will also be bringing their SC430 Super GT car to the Auto Salon. The SC430 Super GT will be banging heads with Nissan’s GT-R in the 2008 race season. The Tokyo Auto Salon is due to get underway from the 11th of January, so drop by TMR to catch the news over the duration of the show.

The reason it would look so at home sitting next to a AMG is because it has almost the same front end as the DTM race cars particularly the headlights and those flares.
However; Auto Salon is more reserved for EVOS and STis not AMG Performance Sedans
