The Land Rover LRX Concept is due to make its debut on the 13th of January at the Detroit Motor Show, however Autocar have been afforded a special preview of the very cool looking SUV prior to the show. Not a whole lot is known about the LRX but it is described by Land Rover as a three-door compact SUV…concept. The concept is based on the Freelander platform but is actually smaller dimensionally than the Freelander and should it reach production, is expected to be based on the Ford Focus platform.

Mechanically, all will be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show but expect to hear news of a hybrid version. Click through for Autocar’s video tour.
