Nissan 370Z 'Take The Wheel' Web Feature

The screen-grab above might look like a fella handing you a plate of steaming hot 2009 Nissan 370Z (hold the anchovies), but it's actually a shot of Nissan's new online 'Take The Wheel' feature, which invites you to hold the new Z car in your hands (virtually) and look at it from just about any angle.

The idea is straightforward, though it does require a web-cam for it to work. Simply print and cut out the steering wheel, hold the wheel with the Z logo facing up, and, if all goes well, a 3D 370Z will appear on the wheel (virtually, of course).

A neat trick, at least until you can get your hands on an actual scale model of the all-new Z - or better yet, the real deal. On that note, stay tuned for TMR's upcoming review of the 2009 Nissan 370Z.
