Someone needs to tell the folks over at Dodge that their yet to be built 2008 Challenger SRT-8 is a roaring sales success. With more than 6,000 deposits in hand and an expected first year production run of only 4,000 units, there is little left for Dodge to sell. They’ve sold the sausage and the sizzle, yet have still chosen to release some teaser pics, bless their hearts.

It may be tough being part of the Chrysler family right at the moment, but the Challenger, particularly in SRT-8 guise is the cream rising to the top. Dodge could easily leave the whole teaser pic routine to the likes of Subaru who seriously need to ease the outside world into their styling disasters - but we are glad they didn't.
