Mercedes-Benz’s super-powerful and super-sized S63 and S65 AMG recently flaunted its updated face at the Shanghai auto show, and while we’ve already told you its vital statistics and shown you what it looks like, we haven’t yet caught a glimpse of it in motion.

Up until now, that is.

While they may not be the sharpest handlers in AMG’s stable, the S63 and S65 certainly don’t lack presence. The LED running lights ushered in by the 2010 update certainly do their part to capture the eye, and the range-topping S-Class sure looks impressive at speed.

Sadly, we don’t get to hear the big sedan’s motor bellow; but having experienced the current-gen S65 AMG (whose powertrain carries over unchanged into the new car), we can assure you it’s a good sounding unit.
