If you can’t wait for the V10 version of the Audi R8, or its 386kW (518hp) just isn’t enough haul for you, PPI Automotive’s Audi R8 Razor GTR might be just what herr doktor ordered.

Utilising the Audi supercar’s V8 as a base and strapping on a supercharger, the R8 Razor GTR develops 432kW (580hp) at 7400rpm and 600Nm (442lb-ft) of torque from 6200rpm. Sound like a good start?

Combined with its 1580kg kerb weight, the R8 Razor GTR will punt its way to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 332km/h.

The German tuning house paired a custom supercharger with the Razor GTR’s stainless steel high performance exhaust and ram-charged air filter system, along with carbon-fibre components throughout the body for reduced weight.

Larger intakes dominate the front end, channeling air to the engine and the front brakes. Custom skirts and an adjustable rear wing help deliver the Razor GTR’s blistering performance.

MAG9 carbon-fibre and aluminium wheels hold up the corners; 19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the business end, with both pairs barely hiding the huge discs and six-piston calipers charged with cutting the supercar’s momentum.

To get you through town’s various obstacles, PPI has included a hydraulic lift kit with the R8 Razor GTR, allowing the car to be raised some 45mm.

Carbon-fibre features in the cabin as well, with Onyx Nubuck leather and orange highlights capping off the classy look.

Unfortunately, PPI Automotive hasn’t offered a price for its mental supercar. It might be safe to assume that if you need to ask, it’s more than you can afford.
