Thanks to the ridiculous success of Fast And Furious, the fourth installment in what’s swiftly becoming the Rocky series for the 21st century young male, The Fast And The Furious franchise will be returning for a fifth go-round.
In a recent interview with a US radio station, blessed B-grade actor Paul Walker confirmed that he, and comrade-in-arms Vin Diesel will be back for number five.
“This was supposed to be it — but without question, Vin and I will be coming back, we’re making the fifth one and we’re going to Brazil,” he said.
With a box-office take of US$72.5 million in its first weekend and the record for the biggest April opening in film history, the news isn’t really a surprise. Still, it stings a little, nonetheless.
Ah, who am I kidding, I love these guys.

These movies are awful, terrible, ridiculously bad.
I still bought them on DVD. And then on HD DVD. I’ve managed to resist the Blu Ray set thus far…

I give FF 4 a solid 0.6 out of 10 it was woeful …
so excited about the next one. I just hope they bring Letty back somehow. really, the movie is kinda incomplete w/out her. plus, they did promise us a “new model with the original parts” , well is time to make good to that promise. That and ofcourse the fact that it would be extremely easy to bring her back taking into account the fact that her death was rather incoherent and inconclusive, thus she could be alive. I personally thought she would reappear at the end of the movie or something. and, if the next movie is in brazil then better yet cause there is a line that she says in the movie is something like “i’ve heard Rio is beautiful in this time of the year” well Universal, use that to say that the FBI took her there or something , IDK you figure it out, but i do have to say that a vast majority of us did think she was not really dead! I still believe she’s alive please bring her bacK!
