Mercedes-Benz’s updated S-Class is less than a day from its official unveiling at the New York auto show, but images of the mildly facelifted luxury flagship have already hit the web.

The folks at WorldCarFans were sent these brochure scans by a German reader, and it appears that there’s not much to write home about the new S-Class.

The sheetmetal is virtually unchanged, with fancier lamp clusters, reshaped LED wing mirror indicators, new rear bumper and a reshaped front bumper with LED foglights being the only standout changes to the exterior.

It appears the S320 CDI and the S420 CDI models have been axed from the European lineup, however the S-Class range gains a split-screen entertainment system, parking assist, lane departure warning, upgraded radar-assisted cruise control and a drowsy driver warning system on the S400 BlueHybrid.

The updated S-Class range is expected to go on sale later this year.
