There's no word on whether we should ever expect to see Toyota bring its youth-oriented Scion brand to the Aussie market - especially in the current financial climate - and no doubt more than a few young Toyota enthusiasts are envious of their US counterparts.

Despite being front-wheel drive in factory form, the Scion tC has had plenty of attention in the US from tuners and enthusiasts alike.

The Rockstar/AEM team have taken it quite a few steps further with this drift-spec tC, which has been converted to rear-wheel drive and is powered by a TRD-sourced NASCAR V8. Yeah, why not?

Best of all, there's a video of it in action. Follow the jump to check it out.

Joe Gibbs, and Papadakis Racing were involved in fitting the engine and setting a more drift-friendly power-band. By the looks of the video below, they've done a bang up job.

For a little more information on the modified Scion tC, and a look at the engine bay, check out the following video.
