Another stonking four door...'Coupe Style'

Having just shown you the upcoming Porsche Panamera it is fitting that pictures of BMW’s Concept CS have just been released as it debuts at the Shanghai Motor show today.

Currently there is little information concerning possible future production but expect this car to be a glimpse of the future from BMW, the rumoured 8-series sedan maybe?

You can still see the influence of Chris Bangles cross-eyed view of the world but BMW may just be 'getting sexy back'

The new model 8-series if the rumours are true will be pitched squarely at the likes of Porsche’s Panamera and Aston Martin’s Rapide. You don’t need to look too closely to see that the BMW Concept CS is very similar to Aston’s Rapide.

Specific details are not known yet but expect the possibility of a 6.0-litre V12 derived from BMW’s current V10 as seen in the M5 and M6.

There is also the possibility of a smaller four door coupe style car to slot in above the current 5-series sedan. It would seem that BMW are quite smitten with the Mercedes CLS.
