We are barely a week out from the new Mitsubishi Evo X’s debut at the Sydney Motor Show and already there is news from the Japanese aftermarket tuning world. HKS have slipped a teaser shot of their warmed over Evo X prototype onto the net and it looks tasty.

Normally white cars look a little ho-hum but the HKS boys have turned attractive into stunning. Dubbed the HKS EVO X RS, the standard EVO X has been given an added shot of attitude. HKS have confirmed that they have concentrated their efforts on two main areas, increasing power and finding more grip.

Added grip and attitude have been found through a lower ride height, super sexy charcoal alloys and improved suspension tuning, the details of which are not yet known. Unfortunately, even less is known about how much power the HKS tuners have managed to extract from the EVO X and what mods they have made to achieve it.
