With just 499 examples slated to be built, Ferrari’s limited-edition Scuderia Spider 16M is already super-exclusive - but that hasn’t deterred Fazza tuner Novitec Rosso from devising its own power-up program for the big-dollar supercar.
The centrepiece of Novitec’s tuning package will be a twin-supercharger kit, which should bump up output of the 16M’s 4.3 litre V8 from 375kW to a mighty 519kW (696hp).
Suffice to say, a Novitec-fettled 16M should hit triple digit speeds a fair whack faster than the “standard” 16M’s 3.7s 0-100km/h time.
Other details of Novitec Rosso’s tuning package are still a little hard to come by, but it appears than any cosmetic mods will be mild. The only pics released of Novitec’s demonstration car show darkened tail lamp lenses and custom-painted wheels as being the only changes to the exterior.
