Late last week, Klosey reported that production plans for the four-door Lamborghini Estoque concept had been cancelled, or at least indefinitely postponed.

While today’s news isn’t much of a turnabout on that rumour, Lamborghini wants it to be clearly understood that the Estoque is not dead.

A new and very short Lamborghini press release (almost more like a brief letter, really, or maybe a memo. A post-it?) said that while initial plans have been shelved, “a four-door luxury performance saloon could be a logical product strategy,” in the event that the manufacturer decides to add a model to its range.

Sounds a lot like another way of saying “indefinitely postponed”…
