Missed Out On The Lamborghini Reventon? Get The Sneakers.

Alright, so you can't actually get these either.

A French designer at Subaru's Japan offices dreamed up the zany - but immensely cool - Lamborghini Reventón-inspired sneakers you see above.  We suspect any question of "why?" would garner a "why not?" in response. And we'd agree.

The concept-only shoe is every inch 'Reventón' and uses the same bold angular lines and lashings of carbon fibre. It's a pity us puny humans are only two-wheel-drive.

Tim Cooper's Gallardo-styled heels don't seem like such an odd idea now that there's a possibility for 'his and her' Lamborghini shoes.

Sure, neither of these outlandish sets of footwear will ever see the light of day, but what's life without a little freedom of expression?

We're not sure about the rest of you but we'd definitely lay down some hard-earned on a set of Reventon sneakers. There's no doubt we could shave several tenths off the morning coffee run in those babies.
