Formula D drifting champion Samuel Hubinette has posted up a video of himself putting the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce through its paces, proving its drifting chops.  But then, who doubted it could do the job?

With a 6.5 litre V12 throbbing away behind your head, producing 500kW (670hp – from which it draws its name) and 660Nm (487lb-ft) of torque, there’s no question that the hot Lambo can drift with the best of them – but you never really expect to see one doing it, and that’s half the thrill of this video.

The video was filmed as an official promotional video for Lamborghini to show off the SuperVeloce, and it’s a refreshing approach.  We’ve seen plenty of videos of ridiculously fast cars flying around tracks and deserted roads, but exotic Italian supercars drifting?  That’s something else.
