After wrapping up a life of rallying and drinking glue, British nutcase Mike Ryan decided to turn his hand to amphibious vehicles. Why not, I’m sure you’re thinking.

While he’s built a few, our favourite iteration of Mike’s Life Aquatic is this Lamborghini Countach replica, which Mike says was so expensive to build that the windscreen glass alone set him back a good AU$4,250 of his questionably hard-earned cash.

The Lambo replica looks to be fairly loyal to the original car, with its secret life as a fish apparently impossible to guess at while the car is on the road.

Of course, when it comes home with a spot of seaweed on its collar, you’re gonna start wondering where it was last night…
