ShareThisSubaru’s Forester is about to celebrate its position as Australia’s best-selling SUV in 2008 with the Launch of a limited edition version of the Forester X. The batch of 550 Foresters will come with $1500 of additional value for only $500.
Additional equipment for the Forester X Limited Edition includes 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear-shift lever.
The limited edition model comes with a choice of manual or ‘sportshift’ automatic transmissions and is priced from $30,990 RRP.
As with the rest of the Subaru range, the Forester X Limited Edition is equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
The Forester also receives a five-star ANCAP occupant safety rating and comes with VDC electronic stability control and dual front, side and curtain airbags as standard.
Managing Director of Subaru Australia, Nick Senior said: “This is the very first special edition of new generation Forester and, with this huge amount of value, we expect them to sell quickly.”
“New generation Forester’s ongoing sales success will be spurred further by this limited edition Forester X, which represents remarkable value in a vehicle that has already been recognised for its comprehensive specification.”
Forester finished 2008 at the top of its compact SUV segment and, year-to-date, is the number one selling SUV across all categories for 2009.
