Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire: First Photo Hits the Web

The team over at Jalopnik have tapped into the power of Twitter to get their hands on the first image of Bugatti’s special edition Veyron Bleu Centenaire.

The Bleu Bug’ is drenched in Bugatti’s famous racing blue, while the Veyron’s trademark two-tone paint scheme has been ditched in favour of a snazzy matte-and-gloss finish.

Specifications are non-existent at this stage but rumours suggest the Bleu Centenaire could be the 436km/h (273mph) Veyron we’ve been hearing about. In case you’ve forgotten, a regular ol’ Veyron can only manage around 409km/h (253 MPH).

The Veyron Bleu Centenaire was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand, and an occasion such as this almost demands that the vehicle in question be a cut above the rest.

Could we be looking at the fastest production car ever? We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available during the Geneva Show. Stay tuned.

I never thought I’d not be attracted to a Veyron. I’ve been proved wrong…
