Its no secret around the TMR office that the Mazda3 MPS is a car we've been eagerly awaiting. We are however going to have to wait a little longer to get up-close and personal with Mazda's rorty little hot hatch.

The standard Mazda3 was on hand to preview the shape of the new five-door, but for the mail on the MPS we'll have to wait until after the car debuts at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3rd, with Mazda displaying the car in Melbourne from then on.

Despite sharing its five-door form with the standard 3, the MPS will stand apart from the crowd with a huge bonnet scoop feeding fresh air into the intercooler, deeper front bumper with Mazda's road-eating five-point grille and larger alloy wheels on lowered suspension.
