HKS Releases R35 GT-R Fuji Speedway Time-Attack Video

HKS has just released in-car footage from its recent time-attack efforts at Fuji Speedway, in the company’s tuned R35 GT-R.

As the clip’s dialogue is in Japanese, we’re not entirely sure what’s being said prior to the lap - but it seems safe to assume that the car is running the HKS GT570 Race Package.

The camera is mounted in the middle of the car, giving a good view of the road, the driver’s wheel work and the GT-R’s Multi-Function Display. In this instance the readout is showing a digital version of the boost guage, and it’s clear that when the car isn’t braking, it’s accelerating. Hard.

Despite the GT-R’s tremendous amounts of grip, you can still see the driver counter-steering at various corners, indicating that this particular GT-R is likely producing more than stock power.  Plus, it does have HKS stickers on it and as any young enthusiast knows, that’s an extra 10kW right there.

Now, sit back and watch as one intrepid Japanese driver man-handles this 419kW (581hp) and 730Nm (538lb-ft) R35 GT-R around Fuji speedway.

Beats a day at the office, eh?
