Like to park a piece of automotive history in your garage? Prodrive is giving you the opportunity to do just that, offering up for sale the first Subaru Impreza World Rally Car.

The two-door Impreza, with chassis number PRO-WRC-97-001, is being offered for sale at £85,000 - or around AUD $189,000. The car, which was once piloted by the late Colin McRae, is fully restored to its original condition and appears in its 1997 Rally of Finland livery.

If you don’t fancy the numero uno car then there are another seven works WRC Imprezas and 17 Prodrive Group N cars also up for grabs. Prices range from £50,000 (AUD $111,000) for a 2005 Prodrive Impreza Group N up to almost £350,000 (AUD $780,000) for a 2008 spec Impreza WRC.

Prodrive (Subaru’s official WRC partner) offered the cars for sale prior to Subaru’s announcement of their withdrawal from WRC, and the company has built this site detailing each vehicle.
