It seems that Chrysler’s bid for further financial aid may have also revealed the company’s plans for two of its most popular cars: the Chrysler 300C and the Jeep Cherokee.
As part of its long-term viability plan presented to the US government, these renderings were included as a visual look at what Chrysler intends to do with its budget if the government decides to post bail for the troubled carmaker.
According to the slick Powerpoint-like graphics, the Cherokee will gain a 19 percent increase in fuel economy between 2010 and 2012, and will feature a class-beating interior.
The 2010 300C – apart from being the “most awarded car in automotive history” (Chrysler’s words there) – will receive a full redesign inside and out.
Chrysler says the 300C will offer an all-new fuel-efficient V6 option to go along with a cylinder deactivation-equipped HEMI V8.
The two concepts are nice enough to look at, and if Chrysler can hold true to its plans - and get that funding it desperately needs - the new 300C and Jeep Cherokee would no doubt provide a healthy boost to the manufacturer’s income.

Hilarious graphics… but “Reliability 40% above industry average”? and “most awarded new car in automotive history”? Who are they trying to kid?
The 300C was one of my favourite modern “retro” muscle cars, given the hot rod styling.
This new one has gone from bold to bland.
I’m so sorry Chrysler 300C…they really have killed you.
You guys are idiots, yea I agree, with most remakes they start rounding off the bold parts, but it is the most awarded car in history.
Only thing I am wondering about is where are the exterior mirrors?
i live in rome and i my own car is a ch.300 c touring…well…it s fantastic. i like the model 2010 too…but i should like a cabrio…but i understood it’s prodution is impossible.
hi guys i have chrysler 300c V8 hemi is fast and luxery car
better then any other v8 becuse 5.7
The 300C looks nice. The grille looks better than it does on the current 300C, but the headlights look so wrong to the point where it ruins the look of the car..
interior on the 300C looks beautiful. huge improvement over the one that’s out now.
