Alfa Romeo has released two teaser sketches for their upcoming MiTo GTA hot hatch. Well, consider us suitably teased.

The first of the the two illustrations appears to be an engine cover. The famed GTA script sits pride-of-place in the middle, for those who might mistake the car for its lesser MiTo sibling with the bonnet up.

The second is a sketch of an air vent. It’s hard to determine what it does exactly, so it’s an even bet as to whether it is for injecting air onto an intake or intercooler, or expelling air out of the engine bay.

Either way, with the arrows implying airflow, it appears the vent is intended to be functional rather than cosmetic. With such a small car packing 176kW under the diminutive bonnet courtesy of a 1.8L turbocharged engine, allowing air to flow freely seems a wise choice.
