Tesla Model S Partially Revealed

As announced way back in July last year, Tesla Motors has been quietly working away on a “multi-use sports sedan” to add to its all-electric range.  Now, the young company has – at least partially – pulled the covers back on what looks to be a stunning addition to the family: The Model S.

The all-electric Model S will be offered with a number of battery options, and while Tesla has yet to disclose details on any of these variants, the entry-level model promises a 257km (160 mile) range.

To the delight of all enthusiasts, and like its Roadster sibling, the Model S is motivated by the rear wheels.

Tesla has scheduled the remainder of the covers to come off on March 26, and if all goes well, the US Federal Government should by then have handed down its decision regarding Tesla’s loan application.

I think Tesla is the only REAL electric car player in the market with the car enthusiasts in mind. This is the electric car for drivers, not just to get from A to B.

Oh, it’s very real - just pretty much unaffordable and obtainable only by celebrities.

Most celebrities drive the Prius and ZAP, not Tesla.
