Not unlike their Passat CC cousin in the UK, the 2.0-litre TFSI Audi A4 and A5 models can now be had with the company’s vaunted seven-speed S-tronic transmission.

While both offer slightly faster shifts and quicker acceleration, the A5 also sees a minor improvement in its emissions.

The Audi A4 achieves 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds (0.1 seconds faster than the manual), while fuel economy and CO2 emissions remain unchanged from 7.3 l/100km and 172 g/km.

Marking similar results, the Audi A5 reaches 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than the manual), while emitting 1.0 g/km less CO2  than its manual counterpart.
