Every year, enthusiasts from every corner of Japan come together in Tokyo to celebrate classic cars of both Japanese and international heritage.  The organisers of the 2009 event decided that Hino and Isuzu would be the featured marques – perhaps to celebrate the past efforts of two companies that no longer offer a single regular passenger vehicle.

Don’t think that Hinos and Isuzus were the only cars on display though, no sir.  From the legendary Nissan/Datsun 240Z and KPGC10 Skyline GT-R through to the TE27 Corolla Levin and Mazda RX-4, the JCCA New Year Meet 2009 had the lot.
