Above: The current UK-spec Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart
News has come down the pipes today that Mitsubishi is working with racing legend Tom Walkinshaw’s TWR outfit to bring a special edition of the Colt Ralliart to market.
While the 108kW (145hp) 1.5 litre engine of the standard Colt Ralliart will remain untouched, the TWR edition will feature a range of updates, including stiffer suspension with a lower ride height, and a unique body kit to set it apart from its lesser siblings.
The TWR Walkinshaw Colt Ralliart is expected to be seen only in the UK at this point, and will help itself to a £2,000 (AUD$4,402) premium over the standard Colt Ralliart (£12,049/AUD$26,523). A stiff order for no power gains, or good value? We’re not about to ask old Tom what he thinks, that’s for sure.
