While we’ve seen a couple of sketches and photos of the exterior, there’s been little idea of what to expect for the interior of the all-new third-gen Hyundai Equus. Hyundai has now revealed an illustration of what Korea’s big-car buyers can look forward to. 

Making extensive use of soft colours and wood-grain panelling, the Equus’ interior speaks to the car’s luxury intent.  With a large multifunction screen front and centre, the iDrive-like “user-friendly multimedia system” controls aft of the gear-shift lever and steering-mounted controls, the Equus seems to have its bases covered.

The next-gen Equus continues to be a hotly anticipated model, which is an unusual fact for two reasons: 1) It’s a Hyundai, and 2) It’s not likely to show it’s face anywhere outside of Korea.  There’s not much that can be done about the latter, but the former is a fact we’re happy to see changing every day.  So many people we speak to have a whole new appreciation for the Korean outfit, and that’s got to be music to the ears of Hyundai’s execs’ ears.

The Hyundai Equus is scheduled for launch in Korea on March 3rd.
