If British outfit Autocar.co.uk is to be believed, these are the first images of the actual production-spec Aston Martin Rapide.
The first thought that comes to mind when considering the visuals is that it’s a touch taller than the concept version we’ve previously seen, obviously to better accommodate rear passengers.
Autocar says that while the Rapide will benefit from the power of the company’s 6.0 litre V12, its output of 358kW will place it between the DB9 and DBS in the power stakes. It’s been mooted that we can expect the car to reach 100km/h in 4.5 seconds, but at five metres long and toting an extra 130kg, that may be on the hopeful side.
The rear doors have been designed to open wider than the front doors, to allow for easier entry, and the Brits say the front seats have been raised to offer more foot space to the rear occupants.

Like: The back, the aggressive stance
Hate: Chrome rims (I assume those are just for show and not production), glass roof (clash with the colour scheme), that line along the doorhandle line from the vent (looks pointlessly added on later)
Not as awful as some of the other 4-door supercars, but come on guys, the joke’s over already…
