Bentley dances to its own tune and there is nothing wrong with that. The manufacturer of some of the world’s more prestigious gentleman’s carriages unveiled the new Continental GTC Speed, the world’s fastest four-seat convertible, at the recent Detroit Auto Show.

Not content to leave well-enough alone, it now plans to unveil its FASTEST, MOST POWERFUL production car ever - the momentous event to take place on March 3rd at the 2009 International Geneva Motor Show.

It's fastest? Most Powerful? Big call in these economic times.

bentley-flip-the-bird After all, the world is being sucked into a right smelly old mess with the economic downturn turning even smellier. But perhaps that's why we like Bentley’s style so much. There is nothing wrong with thumbing your nose at convention, or flicking that nasty Global Financial Crisis the bird.

The mother of all Bentleys will produce obscene but as-yet unknown power and torque figures and cost a bomb. Just as importantly, it will also run on biofuel, delivering stage one of Bentley's environmental commitment and pioneering the use of this fuel in the luxury sector.
