AutoBlog.nl has come across some pics of the soon-to-be revealed Mercedes Benz E-Class Coupe, ahead of its anticipated unveiling at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.

There have been countless spy shots of this car over the preceding months but all speculation can now be shelved as the official images show the true nature of the Coupe.

We’ve covered the four-door E-Class sedan already but it pays to take a quick look before comparing the two. The E-Class coupe has not just had two doors removed.

A massive Mercedes logo now adorns the grill up front ,with new rear tail-lights and a rear diffuser being the most notable items out back. The sweeping lines of the rear flanks integrate well with the overall proportions of the car. In fact, it works so well that it is almost as if the E-Class was designed to be a Coupe from day one.

The interior is typically Mercedes, with acres of leather and wood-veneer highlighted with brushed aluminium throughout, and room to seat four in comfort.

Expect more hi-res images and full details to become available closer to the Geneva Motor Show.
