AMG CLK63 Black Edition - Naughty

If something is ‘Black label’ or ‘Black Edition’ you just no it’s going to be naughtier and more exciting than most. Think Black Label Wolf Blass, Black label Johnnie Walker and of course Penthouse Black Edition not that I support gratuitous nudity…much. Experience tells us that partaking of a Black label anything will leave you with a dry mouth and a racing pulse. Well nothing has changed.

Happy Birthday to me…happy birthday to me… Normally you buy a cake. AMG built themselves a bullet and congratulated themselves on turning 40.

AMG obviously keep their back room boffins on drip fed amphetamines and it shows with their latest creation the Black Edition AMG CLK63. This monster was whipped up to celebrate AMG’s 40th Birthday. It is basically a road going version of the AMG F1 safety car.

Just like an F1 pace car…but yours to take home

The Black Edition AMG CLK63 is powered by AMG’s 6.2-litre V8 which means 375Kw and 630Nm. Expect 0-100km/h in the low four second bracket and a top speed of 300km/h

Will it come to Australia? I have no idea, probably not. If it does then it will no doubt cost as much as a 2 bedroom house in the suburbs. Black Editions don’t come cheap especially when they’re an AMG.

Naughty and nice but more naughty than nice and that’s exactly what we expect from a Black Edition. Now, where did I put that magazine…
