Thankfully not everything being shown at Detroit is a fuel-dodging econo-hatch. Revenge Designs would like to welcome you to the wild side with the 'all-American' GTM-R supercar. Previously noted for tuning work on vehicles such as the Ponitac Solstice and GTO and Honda Ridgeline, Revenge Designs have now turned that expertise into a high-performance product of their own.

The GTM-R is built around a Factory Five Racing tube-steel chassis. The mid-engine rear wheel drive coupe features a 485kW GM performance V8 and six-speed sequential transmission. The body shape has been wind-tunnel tested and the whole package weighs in at 1066 kilograms which should allow a 0-60 mph sprint of just three seconds and an 11.6 second quarter mile.

Luxury features such as touch-screen navigation, a reversing camera and air conditioning are all included in the USD$145,000 price. The GTM-R also comes with an aircraft-inspired leather interior and six-point roll cage, in case you need reminding that you’re strapped into a track-ready weapon.
