MITSUBISHI HAS RELEASED pictures of its new Concept CX small SUV, due to debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Based on the new Lancer platform the Concept CX is a unique looking sporty SUV. It features the ‘gaping maw’ front end that we know so well from Evo X images and, like the Evo X, is also equipped with a twin-clutch transmission and an electronic AWD system.
Powered by a 1.8-litre turbo-diesel the CX’s clean and green credentials are ensured by a diesel oxidation catalyst, and a diesel particulate filter, allowing it to achieve Euro 5 emissions compliance.
The interior of the CX continues the green theme with most materials used being environmentally friendly plastic, made from plant resins.

What a hideous looking car.
Yeah, not much to like. Has something Citroen-like going on with the rear but the rest looks like it belongs in a Thomas the Tank engine animation.
I love it! It is the best from all the small SUVs
I agree. It’s not the most attractive looking car. Which makes be believe it’s really good on gas. They have to compensate somewhere. So it must be gas mileage where it looks good..
