It looks like the Detroit Motor Show will be a big one for Fisker. The specialty manufacturer is set to unveil its Karma hybrid vehicle and has now confirmed it will also take the wraps of its closely guarded Karma ‘S’ Sunset convertible concept.

We’ve seen plenty of the Fisker Karma by now, but the Sunset has been somewhat more elusive. Fisker has been kind enough to provide us with a teaser image of its drop top, though you’d hardly know it is lid-less from the picture.

The Karma sedan is fitted with a 2.0 litre turbo-charged four-cylinder engine, sourced from General Motors, which will combine with a 22.6kWh electric motor to provide the equivalent of over 300kWs. Expect the Sunset to be similarly equipped.

The Detroit Show kicks off with the Press Preview on Sunday 11th of January (opening to the public on the 17th), so it wont be long until we can bring you all the big news from Fisker - and all of the rest. Stay tuned folks.
