9ff Showcases Insane Cayenne Vantage GTR

Those who are not massive fans of the Porsche Cayenne may be swayed by this example from German tuning mad-house 9ff. The insane Cayenne Vantage GTR, no relation to the model from Aston Martin, is packing over 540kWs under that matte-black bonnet.

Exactly what’s been done to generate 725hp is unknown at this stage, unless you’re fluent in German, but the fact that this is likely the fastest Cayenne in the world translates well in anyone’s language.

9ff is also providing a sinister body kit which offers owners the chance to convert to 911 style headlights (we’re not convinced this is actually a good thing, but to each their own). Big alloys and big Brembos are also clearly evident from the images provided, which should mean the Cayenne’s braking and handling is commensurate with its performance.

The standard Porsche Cayenne may not be to everyone’s taste but anything 9ff has taken a spanner to is hard not to love. It has nothing to do with the 540-odd kilowatts on offer either… promise.

Saw the body kit in flesh on the Motorshow here in germany. Looks very strange.

I don’t know why people consider the Cayenne to be an ugly car, i quite like it! But maybe that’s because i have bad taste…I mean, you wouldn’t kick it out of bed would you now?

I would rather jump in bed with a Range Rover, but that’s just me. What annoys me is how Porsche tries to incorporate the styling and trademark looks of the 911 into this rather bulky and bloated package that is the Cayenne.
It is an able car, but it just looks wrong I think.
