Being a little tacker doesn’t stop a car from achieving a five star Euro NCAP rating and the diminutive Fiat 500 is the proof if any was needed.
Organizers of the world’s toughest independent safety testing organization have praised the Fiat 500 and its safety features that allow it to challenge and beat larger cars when it comes to accident protection.
“I am particularly happy to see the adult occupant protection results for the Fiat 500. It is encouraging to see a small car offering high protection for its adult occupants,” said Euro NCAP’s Secretary-General Adrian Hobbs.
Selling up a storm in Europe, the cheeky new-comer will no-doubt prove just as successful in Australia, combining personality, charm, economy and now a five star Euro NCAP rating.
“These results prove that there is real engineering and technological substance behind the cheeky good looks of the new Fiat 500,” says David Stone, General Manager for Fiat in Australia.
