VE Commodore wagon and HSV Maloo Ute

We cannot confirm the authenticity of the following pictures but the chaps over at the Australian LS1 Forum think they may be genuine photos taken at a Holden presentation.

There is one major issue. A HSV Maloo featuring on a clearly marked Holden presentation? Not impossible and as suggested by forum member 'X BC X' they appear to be photos taken at an overhead projector slideshow, possibly for dealers. We'll let you be the judge.

Real or fake, you can't help feeling that they will be close to mark and if thats the case then Holden and HSV are getting set to release some seriously nice machinery.

We are expecting to see the new E-Series Maloo at the Sydney Motor Show and having a soft-spot for Utes with V8's you can expect plenty of pictures on CarUpdate.

Yes this is actually the real deal. A family member of mine works for a HSV dealer and went to the unveiling of the Maloo and brought back photos of the exact same car.

Ford is so far behind the times. I have the option to buy either cars. I go by the car not the badge, i am not a Ford or Holden man or either a young kid. But I have to say taking out the lastest ford Super P UTE for 3 hours., I wasnt impressed. Engine good, the rest cheap, Torno wobbles, cheap brackets, plastic is cheap looking, music centre cheap, steering wheel cheap,,i just found all was put together cheaply. So i cannot wait to see this New Holdon Ute as its look so far ahead of the Ford.Maybe i am turing to become a Holden man

While it looks good, it won't have the functionality for loads etc as did previous models. I am a trade person who has always had holden wagons for my work requirements, but this one appears not to have enough room in the back for my job purpose. I have been waiting with hope that GMH will bring one out that will match previous models for space?
