Ferrari’s 612 Scaglietti uber-GT is getting a bit long in the tooth these days, but German tuning mob Imola Racing have shown that the long-nosed Fazza still has plenty of life left in it yet.
They’ve sculpted an entirely new front bumper, rear diffuser, boot lip spoiler and wide-body fenders to give the V12 Scag’ some extra bulk and a healthy dose of visual muscle. Scalloped side panels look very fetching when matched with a two-tone paint scheme and lends a bit of C1 Corvette flavouring to the German-tuned Italian.
Big Imola-designed wheels fill out those widened guards and the interior has been retrimmed in lairy red and black leather. We’re a little unsure whether Imola Racing have added any mechanical 'go' to match the external 'show'. Imola’s catalogue says that they can unlock up to 456kW from the Ferrari’s 5.7-litre V12, but don’t exactly say how. But then again, when the finished product looks this good, who cares?
