Frankfurt Motor show set to sizzle

The coming 62nd annual Frankfurt Motor Show or IAA (Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung) is the world’s largest motor show and this year’s is destined to be bigger than ever. If it was a music festival Volkswagen would definitely be headlining. With a 9000 square metre show stand and no less then 8 new cars to debut, the German manufacturing machine has been busy.

Carupdate can report that VW’s main focus will be around their new ‘BlueMotion’ line-up. Bluemotion is the name that Volkswagen reserves for the most fuel-efficient vehicles in each of its model ranges.

Amongst the many BlueMotion debuts will be the ‘City Expert’ concept, a rear engined small car that is “sensationally flexible”, (did someone say peoples car?) and of course the new Tiguan compact SUV.

German Powerhouse manufacturer Brabus are celebrating 30 years in the business with a concept which is still under wraps, odds are it will be a based on a brand new C63 AMG with enough horsepower to defy the moons gravitational pull. Brabus stated it will unveil a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” at the upcoming show in Frankfurt. If it is anything like the Brabus Rocket then I’m excited.
