Bugatti have only recently revealed their intention to ‘ramp-up’ production of their mega million dollar Veyron super car. Production will increase from 60 units to a heady 75 per annum. No doubt this will leave the Veyron assemblers somewhat concerned about their long lunch-hours and annual leave entitlements.

Bugatti want to shorten the current waiting time to just over a year… Rumour also has it that we will soon be witness to a Bugatti Veyron spider. That’s right, apparently Bugatti are lopping the top off their Veyron and replacing it with a glass targa style top.

Storage space in the Veyron is at a premium so you will have no choice but to leave your glass panels at the Chateau and rely on a temporary fabric roof that can be fitted in the event of inclement weather.

According to Autogespot’s sources, the Bugatti Veyron Spider has been given the green light for production. So, if you’re a Prince or wealthy industrialist with a desire to have your bouffant buffeted by 400 km/h winds drop into your local Bugatti dealership for more details… We think its best left with its lid on.
