It seems most manufacturers are about as watertight as the Titanic these days - almost everything makes its way online before a new model’s official unveiling. Today we find that Lexus has become the next manufacturer to unintentionally put its wares on show before the intended release date.

Thanks to the team at CarScoop, who picked up on the news from AutoSpies, we’re able to bring you images from the 2009 sales brochure for the Lexus RV SUV range, before its debut at the coming Los Angeles Motor Show.

The re-designed grille and revisions to the front and rear bumpers, which include new-look lights at both ends, are immediately obvious. Sheet-metal has been subtly re-worked with the lines of the sculptured lower doors being a stand-out feature.

The interior has had a work-over with the existing symmetrical central instrument panel making way for a swooping design which, when combined with the curvaceous dash, is anything but symmetrical.

The RX350 and RX450h (hybrid) models shown seem - in these pictures at least - to be an improvement on the older SUV’s aesthetics. However, we’ll wait until closer to the Los Angeles Motor Show before we bring the jury in on these new models.
