Are Audi owners stereotyped? When we think of BMW drivers and Mercedes-Benz drivers, we might occasionally allow ourselves to give in to the stereotype there and call them, collectively, a bunch of wankers. It’s not valid, of course. I know this because I’d happily take a Beamer or a Merc, and I’m no wanker. Shut up, Klosey.

Audi wants to feed that monster inside you, with its latest video campaign Meet the Beckers. For three or so minutes, you’ll smirk and cringe at the behaviour of the BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus drivers in the Becker family. You might even utter “that’s just spot-on, that is” at the 3-Series driver.

We’ve got to hand it to the four rings. Audi’s managed to talk up its own brand in direct comparison to other luxury marques, without having to utter a single word against them.

Episode 1 and 2 are below the cut. You won’t want to miss this, but be prepared to be confronted by attitudes you may not have thought you held!
